Uttarkashi: A major accident has occurred near nine scissors bands on the Yamunotri footpath in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. Passengers are reported to be trapped in the debris due to a sudden hilly slope on the route. The SDRF and the police team have been rushed to the spot. How many passengers are buried in the wreckage? This information is not clear yet.

At 3 p.m. on Monday, a hill suddenly collapsed near nine scissors bands on the Yamunotri footpath without rain. Some pilgrims are feared to be trapped in the rubble of the hill. People at the scene say that a passenger is seen trapped in the mable. For the time being, police have restricted pedestrian movement near nine scissors bands in view of security. A team of SDRF and Yamunotri police has left for the spot. Only after the removal of the debris will it be known how many passengers have been affected.
According to information received from the police, two to three passengers are reported to be buried there. Police and ADRF pulled a passenger out of the wreckage and sent him to PHC Jankichatti for treatment in an injured condition. It is learnt that one of the injured was taken to Jankichatti hospital, which is undergoing treatment. Hardev Singh Panwar said that he is out of danger and two other people are being brought.
