Bahadrabad, Haridwar:-One person was killed while another was seriously injured when a bike skidded on Kalier Road. The injured have been referred to the district hospital. It is being reported that the youth was drunk.
According to the police, two youths were going to Saharanpur on a bike from Kaliar Marg on Tuesday. After Annapurna Dhaba, their bike slipped, seriously injuring both. Passersby rushed him to the district hospital by ambulance. Where doctors declared one youth dead, while the other was given first aid and referred to the higher center. The police control room was informed about the incident. After this, the post in-charge Amit Nautiyal collected information from the hospital administration.
Police station in-charge inspector Naresh Rathore said that the deceased was identified as Kundan Bharti (22), a resident of Raj Vihar Colony Saharanpur. The body was handed over to the family members after postmortem. The injured Vikas (25), a resident of Saharanpur, is undergoing treatment. The investigation has revealed that he was drunk.
