On Monday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated ‘NKB Times’ at Vintage Green, located on Rampur Road in Haldwani. Extending his best wishes to the entire team, he emphasized that fair, positive, and responsible journalism is essential for a healthy democracy. He noted that journalism serves as a powerful medium for bringing public issues to the attention of the government and administration, and for amplifying the voices of those on the margins of society. He expressed hope that the organization would prioritize matters of public interest.
Speaking on the concept of ‘Sabke Ram’ (Ram for All) during the event, the Chief Minister remarked that Lord Ram is a source of inspiration for all of humanity, and his life conveys a message of sacrifice, self-restraint, and devotion to duty. This ethos binds society together through unity and cultural harmony.
The ceremony was attended by several public representatives and administrative officials, including Cabinet Minister Ram Singh Kaida; MLAs Dr. Mohan Singh Bisht, Sarita Arya, and Rajesh Shukla; Kumaon Divisional Commissioner Deepak Rawat; Nainital District Magistrate Lalit Mohan Rayal; and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dr. Manjunath T.C.
