In Uttarakhand, the ‘104 Health Helpline’—which provides health-related advice and information—will remain temporarily suspended from November 1 to November 9, 2026. According to the National Health Mission (NHM), Uttarakhand, this decision has been taken to facilitate the handover of operations to a new service provider, the installation of new software, and the conduct of technical testing.
The helpline will now be operated by a new agency, ‘We Win Limited,’ which is set to commence its services on November 10. During this period of suspension, citizens will not be able to access tele-consultations or health-related information by calling the 104 number.
Dr. Amit Shukla, Director of NHM Uttarakhand, has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the public. He has advised citizens to contact their nearest health center or hospital for any essential medical consultations or health services during this period.
