Dehradun: Preparations have been started to come to village Kachta from the temple of Chalda Maharaj in Doha. In this regard, a meeting of the temple committee was held under the chairmanship of Sadar Sayana Sunil Joshi of Koru Khat. In this, an action plan was prepared for the preparations for the visit of the deity. The temple committee said that the consumption of meat and liquor will be completely stopped on the arrival of the Maharaja.
Chalda Mahasu Maharaj is coming to the village on a stay after 40 years. He is currently sitting in the temple in Doha. A year later he will come to the Kachta temple on a two-year stay. The temple committee has already started preparations for it. On Monday, a detailed action plan was made for parking, living arrangements, electricity, payal and bhandara etc. for the convenience of the devotees. Chairman of the temple committee Sitaram Chauhan said that the construction of the temple being built for the stay of the Maharaja has been completed. He said that it was decided in the meeting that on the arrival of the deity, the practice of sacrifice, consumption of meat and wine will not be done. This will be the first occasion when goats will not be sacrificed on the arrival of the deity. Dham Singh Chauhan, Shyam Singh Rathore, Baru Chauhan, Hakam Singh Chauhan, Puran Singh Khanna, Rajendra Dutt Sharma, Subhash Joshi, Amar Singh Chauhan, Bharat Chauhan, Shamsher Chauhan, Arjun Singh, Anil Rathore etc were present on this occasion.
