Dehradun Municipal Corporation Mayor Saurabh Thapliyal, accompanied by local Councilor Kapil Dhar, conducted an on-site inspection of Ward No. 66, Raipur. During the visit, he closely examined the sanitation arrangements, the condition of the drains, and the issue of waterlogging faced by local residents.
Addressing the officials present—including Chief Health Officer Dr. Anand Shukla, Health Inspectors Mahipal and Bhupendra, and other municipal staff—the Mayor directed them to ensure regular cleaning in the area and to prioritize resolving the waterlogging problem.
The Mayor stated firmly that any negligence in addressing public grievances would not be tolerated. He emphasized that all tasks must be completed within a set timeframe to provide relief to the public. He reiterated his commitment to making Dehradun a clean, beautiful, and well-organized city
