**20 Vehicles Reserved for Women and the Elderly**
The Kedarnath Valley Taxi Union, Sonprayag, has reserved 20 shuttle vehicles specifically for the convenience of female and elderly pilgrims. This initiative addresses a common issue at Sonprayag, where everyone is typically in a rush to board a shuttle vehicle immediately after crossing the barricades. Consequently, women and elderly individuals often struggle to secure a suitable seat in a timely manner, resulting in significant delays before they are able to reach Gaurikund. Recognizing this problem, the Union has designated 20 vehicles exclusively for such travelers.
Union President Ankit Gairola confirmed that the Union has indeed reserved 20 vehicles for these specific passengers. Additionally, ARTO (Enforcement) Dharmendra Singh Bisht stated that supplementary arrangements are being made to be deployed as needed, ensuring that devotees do not face any form of inconvenience.
