An accident happened on Sunday in Dhanauri of Haridwar. Two real brothers died while bathing in Bawan Darra. Both had come with their family from Aligarh to visit Piran Kaliyar. Police took out both the bodies from the river with the help of divers, after which the family returned home with the bodies without taking any action.
On Sunday, Afreen (18) and Danish (19), residents of Rao Hajira Dal Kotwali Nagar Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, had come with their mother Najma and brother Imran to visit Piran Kaliyar Dargah. In the morning, when they went to take bath in Bawan Darra on Ratmau river in Dhanauri with their mother and brother, during this time, due to not knowing the depth of the water, both of them drowned in a pond. Seeing both the brothers drowning, the mother and brother shouted. Before anyone could understand anything, both the brothers drowned in the water. On receiving the information, the police took both of them out of the pond with the help of divers and sent them to the hospital, where the doctors declared them dead.
After this, the police sent both the bodies to their village in an ambulance with the help of Bhartiya Utthan Parishad Trust. Outpost in-charge Dhanouri Pushkar Singh Chauhan says that two youths died due to drowning and their bodies have been handed over to their families
