In accordance with the directives of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Secretary-in-Charge Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar conducted a detailed review of the arrangements for the Kedarnath Dham Yatra via a virtual meeting. The District Magistrate of Rudraprayag reported that the pilgrimage is proceeding smoothly and that the supply of drinking water and electricity remains normal.
Key Directives:
โข Health Services: Assurance was given to promptly address the shortage of specialist doctors along the pilgrimage route, ensuring that pilgrims receive timely and high-quality medical care during emergencies.
โข Animal Welfare: Instructions were issued to ensure regular health monitoring and medical care for the horses and mules used during the pilgrimage, as well as adherence to standards regarding humane treatment.
โข Basic Amenities: Emphasis was placed on the continuous monitoring of drinking water, electricity, sanitation, traffic management, and security arrangements along the route and at halting points.
โข Departmental Coordination: All concerned departments were directed to work in close coordination and ensure the immediate resolution of even the smallest issues faced by pilgrims
