Several key proposals were approved during the cabinet meeting held in Banbasa (Champawat) under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami:
• Land Rights: Approval was granted to confer *Bhumidhari* (land ownership) rights upon Category-3 and Category-4 leaseholders, and the land regularization process in Lalkuan and Jaunsar-Bawar was extended by one year based on 2004 circle rates.
• Transparency and Development: PAN verification was made mandatory to curb fraud in property transactions. Approval was given to release ₹66.29 crore to the Seed Corporation for the expansion of Pantnagar Airport.
• Fiscal and Administrative Reforms: An amendment bill was passed to cap the fiscal deficit at 3% of the GSDP. The Chief Conservators of Forests for Garhwal and Kumaon were granted the status of Head of Department.
• Recruitment and Conduct: The interview process for the post of Deputy Jailor was abolished, while the employee conduct rules were updated to align with central regulations.
