A special event was organized at Doon International School, Dalanwala, Dehradun, under the “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan-2026” (Service Pledge Campaign-2026). BJP’s Uttarakhand Co-in-charge Arvind Menon and Social Welfare Minister Khajan Das attended the event as chief guests. Both leaders inspected the *rangoli* designs, writing competition entries, and art exhibition created by the students, and presented awards to the winners.
Appreciating the students’ creative talent, Arvind Menon encouraged them to adopt the noble ideals of great personalities.
Meanwhile, Cabinet Minister Khajan Das stated that the campaign’s objective is to inspire the youth to build a ‘Developed and Self-reliant India’ by 2047. Describing the children as the future architects of the nation, he urged them to cultivate discipline, empathy, and a spirit of service, and to help integrate the underprivileged, differently-abled, and weaker sections of society into the mainstream.
