7 members of Minority Commission nominated

Dehradun: Seven members have been nominated in the Uttarakhand Minority Commission. These include Farjana Begum (woman Muslim community), a resident of Rudrapur, Jagjit Singh Jagga, a resident of Nanakmatta, Gagandeep Singh Bedi (Sikh community), a resident of Rishikesh. At the same time, Bajpur residence Dr. Surendra Jain (Jain community), Yeshi Thuptan of Nainital (Buddhist community), Nafees Ahmed (Muslim community) resident of Dehradun and Shakeel Ansari (Muslim community) resident of Banbasa have become members. Secretary Minority Welfare Department Dhiraj Garbiyal has issued an order in this regard. It has been said that the term of the nominated members will be for five years.
