Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a meeting with the Indian Ambassadors and High Commissioners to Jamaica, Ethiopia, and Zambia to discuss securing global employment opportunities for the state’s youth. The Chief Minister directed officials to coordinate with the respective Indian missions and provide skill and language training to the youth based on the specific requirements of these countries.

โข Zambia: Demand for skilled human resources in the education and agriculture sectors.
โข Jamaica: Opportunities in tourism, agriculture, andโprimarilyโnursing and healthcare services.
โข Ethiopia: Prospects in the management, logistics, pharmaceutical, and floriculture sectors.
The Chief Minister also emphasized promoting the state’s home-stay model, Ayurveda, wellness, and pharmaceutical industries on an international scale. He instructed officials to assess global demand and formulate a concrete action plan for training the youth
