Udaipur: The Lake City is once again awash with the grandeur of a royal destination wedding. The grand wedding of Netra Elizabeth Mantena, daughter of American billionaire businessman Rama Raju Mantena, and Vamsi Gadiraju has begun. The Mantena and Gadiraju families, both of South Indian origin, arrived in Udaipur on Thursday, where a royal welcome dinner was held at the Leela Palace in the evening.
Guests have begun arriving for Netra Mantena and Vamsi Gadiraju’s royal wedding. Singer-actress Sofia Choudhary arrived at Dabok Airport and departed for the hotel. Bollywood actresses Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Madhuri Dixit, along with several other guests, have also arrived in Udaipur. The royal wedding festivities have begun, with the Mehndi ceremony held at Hotel Lake Palace, attended by family members and close friends. For security purposes, five teams of the SDRF have been called in, and they will be stationed in Lake Pichola for three consecutive days. More than a dozen officers and staff will be present on five boats for security. Grand Celebrations at the City Palace and Jagmandir: The main wedding events are being held at Udaipur’s prestigious palaces. According to reports, the Haldi ceremony will take place today (November 21) at the Taj Lake Palace, while a musical evening is scheduled at the Zenana Mahal of the City Palace. On November 22, special events such as the “Cirque du Mehndi” will be held at Manak Chowk. The main wedding ceremony will take place on November 23 at the Jagmandir Island Palace, located in the middle of Lake Pichola. The reception will then be held at the Zenana Mahal. Events will continue until November 24. Trump Jr.’s Special Event: US President Donald Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., is attending the royal wedding with his family. Additional Superintendent of Police Umesh Ojha stated that security arrangements have been tightened due to VIP movement. According to reports, Trump Jr. will arrive at Dabok Airport by chartered flight at around 5:15 pm today and will proceed directly from the airport to the Leela Palace, where he will stay for the entire event. Trump Jr. will remain in Udaipur until the evening of November 24th.
Trump’s son will stay at a luxury hotel: Trump Jr. will stay with his girlfriend at the five-star hotel, The Leela Palace, located on the banks of Lake Pichola. All 82 rooms and three luxury suites at the hotel have been booked for the wedding ceremony from November 21st to 23rd. Trump Jr. will specifically stay in the hotel’s most expensive and lavish Maharaja Suite, which costs approximately ₹10 lakh per day. The Royal Suite, which costs approximately ₹7 lakh per day, has also been booked for guests. During this time, the hotel will be closed to general guests, and only wedding guests will be allowed entry.
Hollywood and Bollywood stars will shine: This royal wedding will feature not only Bollywood but also Hollywood stars. Hollywood singers Jennifer Lopez and Justin Bieber will give a spectacular performance at the City Palace on November 22nd. The stage will be adorned with state-of-the-art lighting and 3D effects. Grammy-winning South African DJ Black Coffee will also perform, with a special European sound system. International acts like Cirque du Soleil will also be participating.
According to reports, Bollywood stars like Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Karan Johar are expected to attend the wedding. Chartered planes began landing at Dabok Airport on Thursday. Security in Udaipur is on high alert due to the VVIP guests. Additional Superintendent of Police Umesh Ojha stated that special surveillance is being conducted on the routes from the airport to the City Palace and Jagmandir to accommodate VIP movement.
