Narendra Jeet Singh Bindra, President of the Gurdwara Hemkund Sahib Management Trust, met with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday. He also apprised the Chief Minister of the various arrangements being made for the upcoming pilgrimage. During the meeting, he extended an invitation to the Chief Minister to attend the flag-off ceremony for the first batch of the 2026 Hemkund Sahib pilgrimage, scheduled for May 20, 2026.
The Chief Minister stated that the government and the administration are ensuring every possible assistance to facilitate the comfort and safety of the devotees. The pilgrimage arrangements are being continuously monitored to ensure that the devotees do not face any inconvenience. The Chief Minister gave his assurance that the State Government is working with full commitment to make the Hemkund Sahib pilgrimage a successful, smooth, and well-organized event.
Narendra Jeet Singh Bindra informed that the portals of Hemkund Sahib are scheduled to open on May 23, 2026. The flag-off ceremony for the first batch of the 2026 Hemkund Sahib pilgrimage will be held on May 20, 2026. This first batch will be traditionally led by the *Panj Pyaras* (the Five Beloved Ones).
