The award distribution ceremony for the ‘National Youth Parliament Competition 2025–26′ was organized at Shaheed Durga Malla Government Post Graduate College, Doiwala (Dehradun), by the Department of Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Uttarakhand. Principal Secretary Sahdev Singh attended the event as the chief guest.
According to the results announced by Additional Secretary Arvind Kumar:
• Tarun Sabha: Doiwala College secured the first position once again. Uttarkashi College and Rudrapur College stood second and third, respectively.
• Kishor Sabha: PM SHRI Government College, Bhauri (Roorkee) secured the first position, while Government Girls’ Inter College, Dobhalwala, secured the second position.
During the ceremony, 20 nodal officers and the 52 best youth parliamentarians were honored with trophies and certificates. The chief guest inspired the youth to engage with the democratic system and contribute to the state’s development. Finally, the participants took a pledge for the conservation of the Himalayas.
