Patna: The BJP has also released its second list for the Bihar Assembly elections. A total of 12 candidates have been given a place in this list. Folk singer Maithili Thakur has been given a place from Alinagar, while former IPS Anand Mishra has been given a ticket from Buxar seat.
Who was nominated by whom?: BJP has fielded Maithili Thakur from Alinagar, Ram Chandra Prasad from Hayaghat, Ranjan Kumar from Muzaffarpur, Subhash Singh from Gopalganj, Kedar Nath Singh from Baniyapur, Chhoti Kumari from Chapra, Vinay Kumar Singh from Sonpur, Birender Kumar from Rosra, Dr. Siyaram Singh, Mahesh Paswan from Agian, Rakesh Ojha from Shahpur and Anand Mishra (IPS) from Buxar have been nominated. Anand Mishra’s entry in the Battle of Buxar: The Battle of Buxar is always interesting. There was a fight within the BJP over the Buxar assembly seat. On the one hand, former Union Minister Ashwini Choubey was trying to get a ticket for his darling, on the other hand, half a dozen activists had staked the claim. Taking a big decision, the central leadership has made former IPS Anand Mishra a candidate in Buxar.
Sitting MLA’s ticket cut: Flood MLA Gyanendra Singh Gyanu’s ticket has also been cut. From here Dr. Siyaram Singh has been given a place.
