MDDA takes strict action, seals illegal construction in Nehru Colony, issues warning

The Mussoorie-Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) has once again made its tough stand clear against illegal constructions. The Authority today sealed two illegal commercial constructions in Nehru Colony, Dehradun under the Authority area. This action is a clear message to those who are doing illegal construction by ignoring the rules.

 

Under the campaign, sealing action was taken on illegal commercial constructions done by Akash Deep Bhardwaj and Anita Verma. During this, the entire team of MDDA including Assistant Engineer Rajendra Bahuguna, Junior Engineer Munesh Rana, Vijay Singh and Supervisor were present on the spot.

 

MDDA Vice President Banshidhar Tiwari said that on the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami ji, the campaign against illegal construction has been intensified across the state. It is our priority to develop Dehradun as a planned and smart city and any kind of irregularity will not be tolerated in this. The public is appealed to do the construction work only in accordance with the permission and approved map of the Authority. Strict action against those who break the rules will continue in future as well. This step of MDDA is an important initiative to take the city towards planned and safe development.
