Rudraprayag: Monsoon rains continue in Uttarakhand. Due to which rivers, streams, rivulets are overflowing. Roads are blocked at many places and landslides have also caused damage at many places. Continuous rain continues in Rudraprayag district as well. Due to rain, the road connecting the second Kedarnath Bhagwan Madmaheshwar Dham has also been closed. About 50 meters of the part has collapsed, due to which the passengers are also stranded at various stops.
Footpath leading to Madmaheshwar Dham washed out: In fact, due to torrential rains in Madmaheshwar valley last Saturday night, about 50 meters of footpath between Gaundar Bantoli, the base camp of the second Kedarnath Madhyamaheshwar (Madmaheshwar/Madmaheshwar) Yatra, has been damaged due to landslide. Due to the damage to the footpath, movement has come to a complete halt. Due to which the passengers who went to the pilgrimage stops including Madmaheshwar Dham are stuck.
DDRF and PWD team left: At the local level, under the disaster management of the district administration, the team of DDRF and Public Works Department has left for Gaundar to take the passengers to their destination as well as to smoothen the movement on the footpath. On reaching there, the passengers stranded at various stops will be evacuated along with repairing the footpath.
Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers flowing beyond the danger mark: At the same time, due to heavy rains in the Badrinath area, the water level of the Alaknanda river is also rising. The water level of the Alaknanda river is flowing at 626.10 meters, which is slightly above the danger mark of 626.00 meters. Whereas, the danger level of the Mandakini river is 626.00 meters and currently the water level of Mandakini is 624.70 meters.

Apart from this, due to rain, the second Kedarnath Bhagwan Madmaheshwar has been blocked on the footpath. Rescue teams have been sent to the spot. Harbad and Panchayat house.
