Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, ration for the next six months will be provided to the affected families in the disaster-hit Dharali, Sainji, Bankura villages. The priority of the government is to take people from disaster-affected areas to safe places.
Giving information about the rescue and relief operations in Dharali, the Chief Minister said, despite bad weather, more than 1000 people have been rescued safely so far. This includes local people as well as pilgrims from all over the country. The injured have been admitted to the District Hospital, AIIMS. Arrangements have been made to ensure that everyone gets good treatment. Adequate amount of medicines, milk, ration, clothes have been delivered to Harshil and Dharali areas.
UREDA’s power house has been started for power supply in Harshil area. UPCL is getting the damaged power lines repaired. Mobile connectivity has been improved. Also, two 125 kV generator sets have also reached the disaster area. The roads damaged by the disaster in Harshil area are being repaired. The road to Harshil is expected to be completely repaired by Tuesday. The government is providing all possible help to the affected families. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured the state government of all possible help. Under his leadership, the central government is providing full support
