For the last three days, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami himself is monitoring the rescue operation. On Friday, CM Dhami held a cabinet meeting from the disaster affected area itself and took many important decisions related to development, which gave the message that the pace of development should not stop even in times of crisis.
Let us tell you that today is the fourth day of Dharali disaster. Along with the army, all the agencies are engaged day and night in the rescue operation. On Friday, CM Dhami met many passengers. During this, the passengers narrated their ordeal of the disaster to CM Dhami. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami assured to bring all the passengers stranded in Dharali and surrounding areas home safely.
Meeting with officials of all agencies: Apart from this, CM Dhami held a high-level review meeting with DG ITBP, DG NDRF and DGP Uttarakhand Police. In this, the progress of the rescue operation, ground challenges and strengthening mutual coordination were discussed in detail.
Instructions given to expedite the rescue operation: The Chief Minister gave instructions to ensure early access to the affected areas, quick evacuation of stranded people, adequate deployment of relief teams in inaccessible areas, speed up rescue operations by helicopter and ensure timely availability of necessary resources.
Chief Minister Dhami also laid special emphasis on early restoration of communication, electricity and road connectivity and uninterrupted supply of relief material. The Chief Minister gave clear instructions that there should be no delay in providing assistance to any affected person and the administrative machinery should work with full sensitivity.
By constantly visiting Dharali and surrounding areas, Chief Minister Dhami has instilled confidence in the people that the government is not just there to give orders, but stands with every citizen in times of crisis. His active and sensitive approach has not only given strength to the affected families, but has also boosted the morale of the soldiers engaged in rescue and relief operations.
