Businessmen, traders, Panda community and people of Mana valley of the Dham were present in this public outrage rally organized by Badrish Joint Sangharsh Samiti.
Huge demonstration in Badrinath Dham: Actually, after the formation of the authority in Badri Puri for many years, an outrage rally was organized today regarding the problems being faced by the local businessmen, Panda community, hoteliers and common local people and various issues related to hotel business, trade and others. In Badrinath Dham, all the businessmen, traders, Panda community and all the local people up to Mana valley have united and embarked on the path of public movement.
Anger rally under the banner of Badrish Joint Sangharsh Samiti: In the presence of hundreds of people under the banner of Badrish Joint Sangharsh Samiti in Bhu Baikunth Dham, there was a lot of sloganeering against the Uttarakhand government today. In the main markets of Badrinath Dham, people have expressed their anger through this public anger rally by writing slogans on the placards held in their hands. The public community clearly says that even after continuous correspondence and talks with the government administration on all burning issues including the authority, only assurances have been received. Nothing has happened on the ground.
Demonstration in support of our demands: Therefore, now public anger rally and dharna demonstration are our only recourse. In fact, in the public movement and dharna demonstration started today in Bhu Baikunth city Shri Badrinath Dham, all the businessmen of Badri Puri and hundreds of local people and women power of Mana Bamni area took part in the program, carrying placards with slogans in their hands, amidst heavy rain, regarding their various demands.
Warning of anger rally in all four Dhams: In the public movement dharna being held under the aegis of Badrish Sanyukt Sangharsh Samiti Badrinath, all the public agitators of Badri Puri gathered near the newly constructed arrival plaza of Badrinath Dham and raised slogans. Along with this, their anger was expressed by taking out a public anger rally. The spokesperson of the committee said that today was just the initial public anger rally. If the government and administration do not resolve our demands in time, then soon we will be forced to hold a huge demonstration in all four Dhams as well.
These slogans were being raised by the protesters: The slogans written on the posters that the protesters were holding in their hands were – Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Khate Raho Purohit Awas. One poster read – Master plan is an excuse, crores have to be spent. The slogan of another poster was – If you harass Narayan devotees, you will regret it for the rest of your life.
The President of Chardham Hotel Association said that there is anger among the traders about the restriction on the Yatra by the government. The protest against the authority by the people is being done because of the arbitrary working of the authority. Due to which the Badrinath temple is in danger. Water has started coming into the hot pool. The width of the river has been reduced. Whereas, the river should have been wider.
