Dhanaulti: Road accidents are not stopping in Uttarakhand. Meanwhile, a pickup vehicle loaded with apples fell on the banks of Yamuna river near Nainbag Suman Kyari. Four people were injured in the accident, out of which two are in critical condition. The injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital, where their treatment is going on. At present, the police is investigating the incident.
It is noteworthy that a pickup vehicle carrying apples from Mori to Vikasnagar on Delhi-Yamunatri Highway-507 under Thana Capti of Tehri Garhwal this morning fell down about 300 meters on the banks of Yamuna river near Suman Kyari. There were four people in the vehicle during the accident. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and rescued the injured. It is being told that two people were already thrown out of the vehicle, who have suffered minor injuries, whose treatment is going on in Nainbag Hospital. While the condition of two injured is said to be critical.
SHO Mahipal Singh Rawat said that the incident happened on Sunday morning around 6:00 am, the pickup vehicle was going from Mori of Uttarkashi district to Vikasnagar. All the youths travelling in the vehicle are said to be residents of village Noorani Natwar, police station Mori, Uttarkashi district, who have been sent to a higher centre for better treatment after first aid. The condition of two injured passengers of the vehicle remains critical, who have been sent to a higher centre in Dehradun with the help of 108. Abhishek, nursing officer of Nainbag Hospital, said that the condition of Sultanu son of Banasu Lal and Vipin son of Sem Singh, injured in the accident, remains critical, who have been sent to Dehradun by 108.
