Ramnagar: The administration took action against illegal tombs in Ramnagar of Nainital district on Saturday, August 2. During this, three illegal tombs built in Dhela and Dhikuli area of Ramnagar were demolished with a bulldozer. Police force was already deployed on the spot to prevent any kind of disturbance in the area.
According to the information, illegal tombs were built in the resort located in Dhela and Dhikuli area of Ramnagar. The administration demolished them by running a bulldozer on Saturday. It is alleged that all these tombs were built within the resort premises without any valid permission. During the action, a joint team of SDM Pramod Kumar, Revenue Department, Forest Department and Kotwali Police was present on the spot. Heavy police force was deployed to avoid any kind of unpleasant situation.
Three illegal tombs demolished: Giving information to the media, SDM Pramod Kumar said that three tombs built illegally in Dhela and Dhikuli area have been demolished today. Two of these were in Dhela area and one in the resort complex located in Dhikuli. These tombs were built by occupying the land without permission.
Administration showed strictness on illegal constructions: He said that action against illegal constructions and encroachment will continue in the area. In future, if information about such illegal tombs is received anywhere else, then the administration will take action with the same strictness. No one will be allowed to make illegal encroachment while staying within the ambit of the law.
What do the officials say: SDM Pramod Kumar said that the administration has been receiving such complaints for a long time that illegal religious structures have been built in the area. After the complaints, the matter is being investigated. Wherever something wrong is found in the investigation, it is being demolished.

On the orders of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, verification of such religious places and mosques is being done for a long time. After verification, wherever there is a flaw, illegal construction is demolished. Apart from this, CM Dhami had also ordered to investigate the source of funding received by illegal mosques.
