State Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi today visited the Harvansh Kapoor Memorial Hall in Garhi Cantt and took stock of the preparations for the state level program to be held on August 02. This program will be organized to commemorate the distribution of the 20th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During the inspection, Minister Joshi instructed the officials to complete all the arrangements related to the program on time. He informed that Prime Minister Modi will distribute this installment from Banoli village in Banaras, Uttar Pradesh, which will be broadcast live across the country.
The Agriculture Minister said that the state level program will be organized at Harvansh Kapoor Memorial Hall located in Garhi Cantt, Dehradun, while this program will also be organized simultaneously at the district, block, gram panchayat level and central agricultural institutions including Krishi Vigyan Kendras. All the venues will be connected with two-way video connection, so that farmers can also communicate directly with the Prime Minister.
Minister Joshi appealed to the farmers of the state to register their participation by participating in this important program in maximum numbers.
