Dehradun: For the first time in Uttarakhand Forest Department, a new plan of ‘Chai par Charcha’ has been prepared. Under this, the officers of the department will be able to give their suggestions on various schemes one day a week. Not only this, efforts will also be made to improve mutual coordination during this time.
Every Friday in the Forest Department, the officers will have a chance to give their views on various schemes, not only this, the officers will be able to talk among themselves for any kind of problem or improvement within the department. Chief Forest Conservator (half) Sameer Sinha has fixed one day in a week for this, in which the officers will be able to discuss among themselves about the week’s program or decision along with hot tea.
There has been a lot of lack of coordination among the officers in the state forest department. The problem also arises due to lack of uniformity among the officers within the department itself. Perhaps this is the reason why the new head of the department has taken forward this new effort to increase the team spirit among the officers.
The effort has been to make the department work as a team and the officers can give their problems and suggestions on each scheme. The officers in the department have no dearth of experience and hence an attempt will be made to take advantage of the experience of all the officers through this. All the officers can put forward their views in this and everyone’s suggestions can also come in this for how to improve the department. Sameer Sinha, Principal Forest Conservator HAFF, Uttarakhand Forest Department
This arrangement has been made in the Forest Department for the officers present in the Forest Headquarters. Here there are offices of officers from Chief Forest Conservator (PCCF) to CF level. Everyone has different responsibilities, but apart from this, these officers have experience of working in many other departments. Obviously, by doing this, the lack of mutual coordination between them can be removed and some new work can also be taken forward through discussion.
