Dehradun: Thousands of youths took the exam today for recruitment to the post of forest warden in the Uttarakhand forest department. The Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission had done homework for this for a long time, perhaps this is the reason why the commission has been able to complete the written examination in a transparent manner.
Thousands of youth from the state reached the examination centres today to become forest rangers in the state. During this time, the Commission had made various arrangements to make the examination transparent. The biometric attendance of the candidates was recorded at the examination centres. Jammers were also arranged by the commission at the examination centres.
The Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission had set up examination centres in all 13 districts. There were a total of 151 examination centres across the state. Where the exam was conducted. The written exam for the post of forest ranger was called from 11 am to 1 pm.
54764 candidates registered for this competitive examination. Out of which 38230 candidates participated in the written competitive examination. In this way, 70% of the registered candidates have reached the examination centers and taken the exam. The important thing is that no irregularities were reported in the exam anywhere. After which the commission has also breathed a sigh of relief.
The recruitment process is going on for 124 vacant posts of forest warden in the forest department. For which the written exam was conducted today. The process of selection of the selected candidates will be completed soon after the written examination. After this, the forest department will also be able to get new forest wardens.
