The ‘Times Achievers 2026’ ceremony was organized at the Dehradun Municipal Corporation Town Hall Auditorium under the joint aegis of SBS University and The Times of India. The chief guest, Banshidhar Tiwari (Director General of Information and Vice Chairman of MDDA), urged students to make character, moral values, and social responsibility—alongside academic grades—the foundation of their lives.
Mr. Tiwari stated that success is the result of persistent effort and strong life values. He advised students not to limit themselves merely to obtaining degrees but to cultivate qualities such as honesty, discipline, patience, and sensitivity. He emphasized that a rapidly developing India needs youth who demonstrate responsible citizenship alongside professional excellence. He also encouraged them to remain humble even as they achieve success.
During the ceremony, meritorious students from various schools and institutions that have made significant contributions to the field of education were felicitated. A large number of educationists, parents, and students attended the event, inspiring the talented youth to set ambitious goals.
