Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the four-day Tehri Lake Festival in Koti Colony. Held from March 6th to 9th at Tehri Lake, the festival will elevate tourism to new heights. The Uttarakhand Tourism Development Council and the district administration are working tirelessly to ensure the event is a success.
A variety of activities will be organized during the four-day festival. The festival aims to create local employment while establishing Tehri district as a major tourist destination. He stated that adventure activities such as trekking, mountain biking, rock climbing, and rafting will be included, along with local cultural programs, master chef competitions, fashion shows to promote folk culture, and photography competitions.
Chance to win prizes up to ₹1 lakh
Master chef, photography, painting, social media reels, group fashion shows, Mr. and Miss Tehri, rafting, and rap singing competitions will be held at various locations during the event. In which the first winner can win a prize of up to Rs 1 lakh, similarly the second place winner can win a prize of Rs 50 thousand, the third place winner can win a prize of Rs 25 thousand, along with this 10 consolation prizes of Rs 5 thousand each will also be given.
