The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear the Banbhulpura railway land dispute on Wednesday (today). The district and police administration are on high alert ahead of the verdict. Security personnel have been deployed throughout the area. Barricades are being placed on all roads leading to Banbhulpura, and checking is underway. For security reasons, outsiders are prohibited from entering. Even local residents will be allowed entry only after presenting their local IDs. The hearing was originally scheduled for December 2nd, but due to time constraints, it was postponed to December 10th.
The case will be heard on Wednesday afternoon. Those involved in the petition have also arrived in Delhi. A decision is expected that day. This case directly concerns a large population living in 4,365 houses. Following the violence that erupted during the encroachment removal last year, the police and district administration are on high alert to prevent any untoward incident. Considering the sensitivity of the area and the potential for tension, the administration has tightened security measures ahead of the expected verdict
