If PRD personnel are hospitalized due to illness, their honorarium will not be withheld for six months. Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Rekha Arya directed officials to prepare a proposal for this in a meeting held at the FRDC auditorium in the Secretariat.
The Sports and Youth Welfare Minister stated that the department will sympathetically consider all legitimate demands of PRD personnel. PRD personnel demand 365-day employment. The term “employee” should be used instead of “volunteer.” She directed officials to examine this matter and take action.
Instructions have also been given to increase the amount of assistance received by PRD personnel. The departmental minister informed that December 11th is PRD Foundation Day. Preparations for the events were reviewed at the meeting. Special Chief Sports Secretary Amit Sinha, Director Ashish Chauhan, Additional Director Ajay Agarwal, and others were present.
