The Badrinath shrine is deserted after the closing of its doors. Hotel and Dharamshala employees are busy packing their belongings. The ITBP has been deployed for security at the shrine. The doors of the Badrinath shrine were closed for the winter season on November 25th.
After the closure of the doors, most people have returned from the area. Employees of some hotels, restaurants, and dharamshalas are busy packing their belongings. People are also gradually returning. In view of this, the Badrinath police station is currently operating.
Master plan work continues at the shrine.
Police have installed CCTV cameras around the temple complex, and they are being monitored from the police station. Later, a checkpoint will be established at Hanuman Chatti to monitor the activities at the shrine. Master plan work is also underway at the shrine.
SP Surjeet Singh Panwar stated that an ITBP platoon has been deployed for security at the shrine. The police station will remain operational until all hotel, dharamshala, and other staff return. CCTV cameras have been installed for temple security. Four BKTC employees have also been deployed in Badrinath.
