Officials of the Sub-Plan Employees Federation met with Minister for Military Welfare Ganesh Joshi at his camp office today and expressed their gratitude for the state government’s order regarding 12 years of service.
It is noteworthy that Sub-Plan employees have long been demanding equal pay for equal work. The state government has taken a positive decision on this long-standing demand, marking an important step in the interests of the employees.
As a result of the continued efforts of Sub-Plan employees Ganesh Joshi and the directives of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the state government has issued an order clarifying that employees deployed through Sub-Plan in departments/institutions under the state government who have completed 12 years or more of continuous service will be provided the minimum wage and dearness allowance of the pay scale based on the principle of equal work-equal pay. Additionally, other Sub-Plan employees who have completed their service in a phased manner will also soon be provided the minimum wage and dearness allowance in accordance with the principle of equal work-equal pay.
The officials of the UPNL Employees Federation thanked Minister Ganesh Joshi, calling this decision extremely relieving for the employees.
Military Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and said that the state government is continuously working for the welfare of the employees, giving top priority to their interests.
On this occasion, State President of UPNL Employees Federation Vinod Godiyal, General Secretary Vinay Prasad and other officials were present.
