Jamnagar (Gujarat): Donald Trump Jr., who is on a visit to India, praised Anant Ambani’s Vantara Animal Conservation Project, calling it “a wonder of the world.” He said he had never seen such an experience before.
US President Donald Trump’s son arrived in Jamnagar on Thursday and departed for Udaipur on Friday. This is his second visit to India. During his tour of the large wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center, Trump Jr. praised the project’s scale, its conservation work, and the thorough efforts made to restore natural habitats for the rescued animals. In a video message recorded with Anant Ambani, Donald Trump Jr. said, “Conserving all these animals, saving them, and giving them life is better than the way I live. It’s amazing to see the animals here find their habitat. Look into their eyes, you’ll find life here that you can’t find anywhere else.”
Vantara, founded by Anant Ambani, focuses on the rescue, rehabilitation, and long-term care of distressed wild animals from India and abroad. The project has attracted global attention for its scale, infrastructure, and scientific care standards.
On Thursday, Trump Jr. visited the Taj Mahal, one of the world’s most famous and beautiful monuments, located in Agra. The Taj Mahal was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983, recognizing its cultural and historical significance. It is one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World and attracts millions of visitors annually.
Earlier this year, in March, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Vantara, a unique wildlife conservation, rescue, and rehabilitation initiative, in Jamnagar, Gujarat.
Praising the compassionate efforts of Anant Ambani and his team, he said that Vantara provides a safe haven for animals, while also promoting ecological sustainability and wildlife welfare.
