Today, the administration’s bulldozer ran on an illegal dargah built on approximately two bighas of government land near the Pathri Roh bridge in the Ranipur Kotwali area. The Irrigation Department had previously issued a notice to the dargah manager, but the encroachment was not removed within the stipulated timeframe. Following this, the administration took action today.
On the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, a campaign against illegal structures built on government land is being carried out in Uttarakhand at a rapid pace.
The action was carried out in the presence of a heavy police force along with administrative staff. Officials clarified that any kind of illegal construction on government property will not be tolerated.
