Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami arrived at Barinath Dham today. He participated in the two-day Devbhoomi Cultural Festival held at the shrine.
During this, the Chief Minister said that the main objective of the event is not only entertainment, but also to promote winter tourism, reverse migration, employment generation, and economic development in the border areas.
This festival is being jointly organized by the Indian Army and the Uttarakhand government. The Chief Minister also visited the Army’s weapons exhibition here. He also visited the stalls set up by the local people and tasted the mountain cuisine. After this, the Chief Minister reached the Badrinath Temple and offered prayers to Badri Vishal.
