Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi today held a meeting with officials from the Jal Sansthan and Jal Nigam, along with local public representatives, at his camp office in Hathibarkala to review the availability of drinking water and related development works in the Mussoorie Assembly constituency.
During the meeting, Minister Joshi received progress reports from officials on ongoing development projects and directed them to expedite the work. He stated that all development works related to drinking water should be completed on a priority basis, keeping the public interest in mind. He directed that water be ensured in Mussoorie city through the Yamuna Drinking Water Pumping Scheme.
Minister Joshi stated that the government is constantly striving to develop basic amenities for the public and that any negligence in providing essential services like drinking water will not be tolerated.
Officials from the Jal Sansthan and Jal Nigam, along with local public representatives, were present at the meeting.
