Preparations are underway to hire private surveyors for the digital crop survey in the state. The Ministry of Agriculture will provide funding for this. For the first time in the state, digital crop survey work has been initiated in 4,400 villages. The survey will include recording details of the cultivator and the crop sown in the field, along with photographs.
Employees from the Revenue, Horticulture, and Agriculture departments have also been trained for this purpose. The number of villages is expected to increase in the future. Furthermore, this survey is scheduled to be conducted twice a year. While the personnel involved in this work also have to perform other departmental duties, there are plans to hire private surveyors. Efforts have been initiated for this purpose.
This work has been initiated in Uttar Pradesh with the cooperation of the private sector. Revenue Council Secretary Ranjana Rajguru says that the digital crop survey is underway. The upcoming Rabi crop survey is scheduled to be conducted, and there are plans to hire private surveyors for this
