Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami approved a budget of ₹361.25 crore for the three-tier panchayats and ₹333 crore for the municipal bodies on Friday, following the formation of the three-tier panchayats. A total of ₹986 crore was approved for various schemes. Chief Minister Dhami approved ₹3.03 crore for the construction of a non-residential building in Champawat’s Barakot tehsil, ₹1.86 crore for the construction of two Category-05 government residences in Haridwar’s Officers Colony, ₹2.08 crore for the construction of a meeting hall and additional rooms in Pauri, and ₹7.16 crore for the construction of an office building, workshop, and store room at Lohaghat Bus Station in Champawat. On the recommendations of the Fifth State Finance Commission, the Chief Minister approved the release of ₹83.25 crore to all district panchayats for the third installment of the financial year 2025-26, ₹78 crore to area panchayats for the second half-year installment, and ₹200 crore to gram panchayats for the second half-year installment. On the recommendations of the Fifth State Finance Commission, approval has been given for the release of Rs. 333 crore to urban local bodies for the third quarterly installment of the financial year 2025-26 and Rs. 3 crore to three non-elected bodies for the second half. Rs. 3.19 crore for the reconstruction of four to seven km of the road on the available land after removing encroachments on the Anarwala Malsi motor road in Mussoorie, Rs. 4.16 crore for the renovation of the 113-year-old 51-meter span foot suspension bridge situated on the Saryu river under the Nagar Palika Parishad Bageshwar under the Missing Link Project of the Urban Development Department and Rs. 4.16 crore for laying external electricity connection and drinking water line in the low income group housing society of Kath Bangla of Municipal Corporation Dehradun. 52.81 crore for 16 Irrigation Department projects CM Dhami approved Rs. 2.43 crore for road construction in Khaniya No. 4 of Sitarganj in Udham Singh Nagar under the state plan, Rs. 5.81 crore for flood protection work in Grastnganj village on the left bank of the Khoh River under Dugadda in Kotdwar in Pauri, Rs. 3.13 crore for a motor road from the Nawabgarh bridge in Vikasnagar, Rs. 2 crore for the construction of a central library, boundary wall, and mini stadium on the Soban Singh Jeena University Champawat campus, Rs. 52.81 crore for 16 different Irrigation Department projects in various districts under NABARD funding, and Rs. 200 crore as the first installment under the ADB scheme for various items for ongoing works under the Uttarakhand Transmission Strengthening and Distribution Improvement Program. Apart from this, an amount of Rs 97.20 lakh was approved for the implementation of development work of Shri Angeli Babu Temple site in the village border of Kapkot and an amount of Rs 23.74 lakh was approved for the gravel road from village Rauchada of Pithoragarh to Raika Madhmanale
