New Delhi: Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh stated that India’s long-range missile system, the S-400, played a major role in Operation Sindoor. He explained that the S-400’s powerful radar and missile system prevented enemy fighter aircraft from remaining safely within their own territory. “The S-400 proved to be a game changer for us,” said AP Singh.
Air Chief Marshal Singh stated, “The S-400’s range exceeded that of enemy weapons. Consequently, they were unable to reach the lethal range of our weapons, and the aircraft that advanced suffered heavy losses. This proved to be a game changer for us.” He also explained that during this operation, the Indian Air Force adopted such a strategy that the enemy became afraid to operate aircraft within its own territory. This gave India a decisive advantage.
CDS Revealed Important Secrets Related to Operation Sindoor
A day earlier, CDS General Anil Chauhan had revealed that the attack on terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and PoK on May 7th was carried out between 1 and 1:30 am. He stated that this time was chosen for two reasons. First, the Army was confident in its technical and intelligence capabilities, ensuring it could gather accurate images and evidence even in the dark. Second, and most importantly, the safety of innocent civilians. Therefore, the Army attacked in the dark, targeting terrorists and protecting civilians. Operation Sindoor Shakes Pakistan to Its Knees
India delivered a befitting reply in the recent conflict with Pakistan. The Indian Army thwarted all Pakistani attacks and destroyed several key Pakistani airbases, bringing Pakistan to its knees. India carried out this operation under Operation Sindoor after the Pahalgam terrorist attack, following which Pakistan appealed to India for a ceasefire.
