To mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ (Service and Resolve Campaign) will be organized in Uttarakhand from September 17 to October 17, 2026. During a press conference at the Secretariat, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that the campaign’s primary objective is to align citizens with the resolve of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ (Developed India 2047) through service, dialogue, innovation, and public participation.
Key highlights of the campaign:
โข 11 Major Programs: Under this month-long campaign, 11 programs will be organized, including ‘Aashirwad ka Diya’ (Lamp of Blessings), ‘Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra’ (Procession of the Flame of Service), ‘Seva Setu’ (Service Bridge), and ‘Sushasan Seva Samvad’ (Good Governance and Service Dialogue).
โข Public Participation and Competitions: Competitions such as painting, essay writing, and speech contests based on the theme ‘Mere Sapno ka Bharat’ (India of My Dreams) will be held in educational institutions. Additionally, tree plantation and cleanliness drives will be conducted.
โข Innovation and Camps: Multi-purpose health camps will be set up to extend the benefits of government schemes, and the ‘Seva First Innovation Challenge’ will be launched in collaboration with IITs and IIMs.
โข District-level Leadership: The campaign will be conducted across all districts in the presence of ministers-in-charge
