Bhubaneswar: President Draupadi Murmu will address the members of the Odisha Legislative Assembly on November 27th. This will be the first time a sitting President will address the House. Preparations have been intensified from the President’s arrival to her return. Arrangements are being made for the President’s security, accommodation at the Raj Bhavan, security arrangements, and health care.
President Draupadi Murmu will arrive in Odisha on November 27th. She will inaugurate the new Kalinga Guest Residence at the Odisha Raj Bhavan. She will also address the Odisha Legislative Assembly. She will depart for Lucknow on the morning of the 28th. Preparations for the President’s visit to Odisha are in the final stages. The President will arrive in Odisha on a special flight from New Delhi at 11:50 am on the 27th. She will land at Bhubaneswar Airport at 2:00 pm. She will depart directly from the airport for the Raj Bhavan at 2:10 pm. She will arrive at Raj Bhavan at around 2:20 pm. At 2:25 pm, she will inaugurate the new Kalinga Guest Residence at Raj Bhavan. She will attend a luncheon hosted there.
The President will be accompanied by the Governor, Chief Minister, three Union Ministers, the Speaker of the Odisha Legislative Assembly, the Home Minister, the Chief Secretary, the Development Commissioner, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department, the Principal Secretary of the Home Department, the Director General of Police, the Director General of Fire, and the Commissioner of Police.
She will stay at the Kalinga Guest House from 2:45 pm to 4:10 pm. She will leave at 4:10 pm and arrive at the Odisha Assembly at 4:20 pm. She will address the members of the Assembly from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. From there, she will return to the Kalinga Guest House at Raj Bhavan.
The President will attend a dinner hosted by the Governor at Raj Bhavan. The next day, on November 28, she will depart for Bhubaneswar Airport at 9:15 am. Will leave for Lucknow from Bhubaneswar Airport at 9.35 am.
