District Magistrate and District Election Officer Dr. Ashish Chauhan reviewed the disposal of claims and objections received under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls via video conferencing from the Collectorate auditorium. He directed all Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) to ensure the mandatory uploading of Forms 6, 7, and 8 onto the portal by the night of August 13, 2026.
The District Magistrate emphasized that Form 6 must be scrutinized with utmost care and seriousness to prevent any errors in the electoral roll. He instructed officials to work tirelessly to achieve the set targets while maintaining quality, transparency, and accuracy at every level. Additionally, directives were issued to accelerate necessary actions in areas showing slow progress and to immediately initiate the notice process.
Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Smrita Parmar, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Headquarters) Ravindra Jwantha, Chief Development Officer Abhinav Shah, along with all other EROs and concerned officials of the district, attended the virtual meeting.
