On Tuesday, District Magistrate Dr. Ashish Chauhan conducted a surprise inspection of various offices, counters, the record room, and the District Disaster Operations Center located within the Collectorate premises to take stock of the arrangements.
During the inspection, the DM issued strict directives to officials and staff to treat visitors approaching the office with sensitivity and to ensure the timely and high-quality resolution of their grievances.
Key Highlights of the Inspection:
โข Document Management: While inspecting the record room, the DM directed that all files be organized categorically and instructed that the digitization of records be expedited.
โข Cleanliness and Work Culture: He emphasized the importance of maintaining regular cleanliness within the offices to foster a better work culture.
โข Disaster Management Preparedness: During the inspection of the Disaster Operations Center, the DM directed that the list of sensitive, landslide-prone, and remote villages accessible only on foot within the district be kept updated. In view of the upcoming monsoon season, he instructed all departments to maintain inter-departmental coordination, communication systems, and alternative routes on high alert.
