State Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat will be on a visit to his assembly constituency, Srinagar, on the upcoming 13th and 14th of May. During his stay in Srinagar, Dr. Rawat will take stock of the progress of various development works underway in the region and will also review schemes being implemented by various departments—including the local administration—at the Pabo Development Block headquarters. Furthermore, he will conduct public outreach in the area, interacting with common citizens, shopkeepers, traders, women, and the youth to listen to their grievances and solicit their suggestions for the region’s development
Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat stated that, as part of his tour of his assembly constituency, he would be visiting the Pabo Development Block on May 13th and 14th. Under this two-day itinerary, Dr. Rawat will conduct extensive public outreach on Wednesday in the villages of Gwarigad, Bhattigaon, Sarna, Pali, Kulbhauri, Chhani, Chopadiyun, and Kotli. During these interactions, he will engage with villagers, shopkeepers, farmers, women, and the youth to understand their issues and gather their suggestions for the region’s development.
On Thursday, Dr. Rawat will lay the foundation stones for various development projects and inaugurate completed works at a program organized at the Pabo Block headquarters. During this event, he will inaugurate repair and maintenance works at the Community Health Centre, painting and renovation of residential buildings, and the installation of interlocking tiles within the residential complex of the Pabo Development Block. Additionally, on this occasion, Dr. Rawat will distribute financial assistance cheques to beneficiaries of the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund. Subsequently, the Cabinet Minister will hold a review meeting with block-level officials at the Pabo Block headquarters to assess the progress of various schemes being implemented at the block level. He will also hold a meeting with officials from UPCL (Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited) to address electricity-related issues in the Pabo region. Furthermore, Dr. Rawat will hold a joint meeting with officials from the Tourism and Public Works Departments regarding the establishment of a museum within the ancestral residence of the late Dr. Shivanand Nautiyal—who served as the Minister of Education and Hill Development in the undivided state of Uttar Pradesh—in his native village of Kotla. Subsequently, Dr. Rawat will inaugurate the blacktopping of the link road leading from the Inter College in Bishald to Bishald Bend and Khatgedh, as well as the beautification project of the Primary School in Bishald; additionally, he will lay the foundation stone for a multi-purpose Panchayat Bhawan in Raltham. Furthermore, Dr. Rawat will conduct public outreach in the villages of Simkhet, Pokhari, and Saplodi, and will also hold a meeting with village guards and booth workers in Pabo.
