The State Minister for AYUSH, Shri Madan Kaushik, held a significant review meeting with departmental officials in the auditorium located within the Legislative Assembly complex. During the meeting, he issued detailed directives aimed at improving the department’s operational efficiency and monitoring the progress of various schemes.
Key Highlights:
• **Smooth Distribution of Medicines:** The Minister reviewed the implementation of decisions previously taken regarding the Ayurvedic University at Harrawala. Furthermore, he directed officials to take immediate and appropriate action to ensure the uninterrupted distribution of medicines to patients at the Rishikul and Gurukul Ayurvedic Colleges (Haridwar).
• **Recruitment for Vacant Posts:** Emphasizing the need to maintain proper administrative order within the AYUSH universities, the Minister directed that requisitions be sent as soon as possible to fill vacant positions for technicians, librarians, and other staff categories.
• **Preparation for Central Meeting:** Departmental preparations and action plans were discussed in light of the upcoming proposed meeting with the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. He instructed that all proposals be finalized in a timely manner.
