All communication facilities have been disrupted due to the collapse of the hill in Jyotirmath. The administration has stopped the passengers traveling at safe places.

In view of the forecast of the Meteorological Department, yesterday Chamoli District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari has given instructions to keep all Anganwadi centers and all government and non-government schools from class 1 to 12 closed.
