Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given instructions to select two such villages of the state, in which tourists will be given state-of-the-art facilities. In these villages, they will get a chance to stay as well as work from village.
CM Dhami has instructed Secretary Chief Minister Shailesh Bagoli to develop two villages near Dehradun and Haldwani as a pilot project with high speed internet connectivity, electricity, road and excellent drainage system. Home stay facility will also be available in these villages.
Tourists will be able to work from village along with celebrating holidays here. CM Dhami has directed Principal Secretary Energy R Meenakshi Sundaram that power cuts should not be done in these villages under any circumstances. He also directed to save the ancient manuscripts, copper plates and texts of Uttarakhand and preserve them in a scientific manner.
