Haldwani: Two youths came under the grip of Ranikhet Express train coming from Delhi to Kathgodam. One youth died after being hit by the train. Whereas, the other youth is seriously injured, who has been referred to Bareilly Hospital in Uttar Pradesh.
According to the information, this accident happened today i.e. on the morning of 15th July near Indranagar railway gate. According to the police, two youths had gone out for a morning walk, who were walking along the track. Then the Ranikhet Express train came. This train was going from Delhi to Kathgodam. Both the youths came under the grip of this train. Due to which both the youths were badly injured.
At the same time, the people present on the spot informed the police about the accident. GRP reached the spot and the injured were brought to Haldwani railway station. From where they were taken to Sushila Tiwari Hospital with the help of an ambulance. After examination, doctors at Sushila Tiwari Hospital declared one youth dead. While, the other was given first aid and referred to Bareilly in view of his critical condition.
Police busy in finding out the cause of the accident: On the other hand, the police reached the spot and prepared the Panchnama of the deceased and started the process of post mortem. The causes of the accident are being thoroughly investigated. The family members are in a state of shock over the death of the youth in the accident. It is being told that both the youths were friends, who had gone out for a morning walk. Where they became victims of the accident.
