Patna: The Aam Aadmi Party has released its detailed election manifesto for the Bihar Assembly elections 2025. Releasing it in Patna on Thursday, the party’s state president Rakesh Yadav said that a radical change will be brought in the field of education, health, electricity and employment in Bihar on the lines of Delhi and Punjab. He said that this manifesto has been brought as part of the effort to solve the real problems of Bihar, in which all serious problems will be solved by the party once the government is formed.
Promise of world-class schools in every panchayat: According to the manifesto, the Aam Aadmi Party has promised to open world-class schools in every panchayat of Bihar on the Delhi and Punjab model. In these schools, students will be given modern education such as AI, coding and robotics from the fifth grade. The party has said that the government will be fully responsible for the construction and operation of schools, so that even the children of the poorest of the poor can get quality education. 300 units of free electricity and old bills waived: Regarding the electricity system, the Aam Aadmi Party has announced to give 300 units of free electricity on the lines of the Delhi model. Also, all old electricity bills will be waived. The party has promised to provide 24-hour uninterrupted electricity to every home. Rakesh Yadav said that electricity is no longer a luxury, but a basic right of a citizen.
Establishment of free coaching and knowledge hub: The party has announced a scheme of free coaching and knowledge hub to attract youth in the field of education and employment. Under this scheme, preparation for competitive exams like SSC, UPSC, NEET, JEE will be done free of cost. At the same time, hackathons, seminars and entrepreneurship studies will also be promoted
10000 mohalla clinics: In the health sector, the party has promised to open 10,000 mohalla clinics on the Delhi model. Facilities for testing, treatment, yoga and meditation will be provided at every panchayat level within six months. Along with this, the plan to operate recognized clinics at the panchayat level by giving certification to RMP doctors is also included in the manifesto.
₹3000 monthly allowance to youth: Regarding unemployed youth, the party has said that every unemployed will be given ₹3000 monthly allowance. At the same time, a special scheme will be implemented to make 10 lakh youth skilled workers. Under this scheme, they will be given a training allowance of 12000 per month and priority in government jobs. In addition, the youth who have received the training will be linked to a respectable employment of Rs 5000 per month. The party claims that this will largely eliminate the problem of migration in the state and increase employment opportunities at the local level.
CM Elderly Yatra and Pension Scheme for the elderly: The Aam Aadmi Party has also announced several schemes for the elderly in its manifesto. Citizens above 55 years of age will be given free pilgrimage by AC train. Apart from this, a plan to set up old age homes in every district and a 5000 monthly pension to every elderly person is also included.
Kisan Samman Yojana of Rs 12000 crore: The party has announced the ‘Kisan Samman Yojana’ for farmers, under which a special package of Rs 12000 crore will be given. It will provide loan waiver, crop insurance and compensation of up to ₹50,000 in natural calamity. Rakesh Yadav said that every farmer will be guaranteed ₹5 lakh per acre annually for farming. Also, the support price (MSP) of every crop will be ensured so that farmers can get the full value for their hard work.
Revival of rivers and canals and relief for workers: Schemes like revival of rivers and canals, improvement of submerged areas and MSI townships for Ganga bank development have also been mentioned in the manifesto. At the same time, insurance and pension arrangements have been promised for auto rickshaw drivers, wheelbarrow sellers and small shopkeepers to get rid of recovery.
This manifesto is not just a document of promises, but a roadmap of the model tried in Delhi and Punjab. If the people give us a chance, then Bihar will also become the leading state in the country in the field of education, health and employment.
